These calorie controlled treats are perfect for any healthy lifestyle diet, so you can still enjoy your treats without worrying about overeating.

As I do slimming world these are perfect and low syn (I will list the syn value below)

  • Yoghurt Raisins – 5 syns
  • Chocolate-Coated Peanuts – 5 syns
  • Dark Chocolate Biscuit Bar – 5 syns

I had two different bars this one featured above and a milk chocolate bar, both bars were lovely but I must admit I loved the dark chocolate more; keep in mind dark chocolate is my favourite kind.

Chocolate coated coffee beans – 5 syns

If you have been following my blog for a while you will know that I love my baked oats and here I created a chocolate heart version topped with Tasty Little Numbers chocolate covered coffee beans.

For someone who is losing weight, I find these snacks so handy and if you’re like me, you like to finish something once it is opened. You don’t have to weigh anything, most of the snacks are on the Slimming World syn calculator and with the 20cal 1 syn rule, it is easy to work out the sweet treats.

So lets talk about the bars, they’re a biscuit bar and remind me of a Nestle Crunch bar, not in taste but in actual crunch and texture. The chocolate has a beautiful coating around it, not too much and not too little and the milk chocolate bar reminds me of Nestle chocolate. My favourite is the Belgian dark chocolate, creamy and rich. The dark reminds me of Bourneville, but with the biscuit inside it gives it something a little extra. A 5 syn bar with a cup of coffee… delicious!!

My husband prefers the Belgian Milk Chocolate biscuit bar, so needless to say no one else in the household got a look in.

Another appeal with the chocolate biscuit bars is that they are GLUTON FREE!! Yes, you read that right! So it opens doors for more people.

love the bags of snacks, great for my handbag, on the go, break time, kid’s lunch boxes and cinema treats. My favourites are wasabi peanuts, chocolate covered coffee beans, chocolate dusted blueberries and yoghurt covered raisins.

When I go to the cinema I love hot nuts, but we all know how calorific they’re and they are a large portion (even when you order the small). I would eat that in a blink of an eye. With the wasabi peanuts, I got the “hot nut” hit and because it was a portion I felt satisfied, not deprived and I didn’t over eat; also only using 5 syns out of my allowance for that day!

Now lets talk about the price and where to order. You can order directly from Tasty Little Number website or Amazon. Initially when you see the price on the website you might be a little taken back, as you have to buy the snacks individually as a bulk of 5 per box. For example; the dark chocolate is £3.00 for a box of 5, which then works out at 60p per bar, so if you like a certain snack that is a reasonable price. You will only get delivery for orders over £20, so when you have the money you could buy in bulk . On Amazon it is 20 bars for £13 and if you are ordering anything from Amazon, over £20 it is free delivery.

will be purchasing some new treats for the new year. I love nougat, and I’ve seen they do nougat bars and I am so excited for them. I will be repurchasing wasabi peanuts, chocolate covered coffee beans, dark chocolate bars and chocolate dusted blueberries.

If you have tried them or are going to try them, let me know your thoughts xx

Lapland Mailroom Letter Review

Christmas is a time of year that you can relate to with family and traditions. One of those traditions was the yearly trip to see Santa and some years I received a letter which made it even more special and magical. Now I have my own children I have tried to make it just as magical.

I had the opportunity to review a letter from the Lapland Mailroom and as I normally get my kids a letter I thought why not. The website is very clear and slick; simple to use. The letters on the website looked beautiful, different from the letters my kids have received before!

You have an option to choose from four different letters, which is great if you need to buy a few letters and ensure they’re all different. You can even personalise certain sections that include friends, siblings, gifts and Santa’s favourite food you left out the year before. So it includes special details from the previous year linking those together. I think that’s very unique and clever!

Prices start from £7.95 and at the moment every letter includes a Nice Child Certificate worth £2.99 for FREE. The letters are individually addressed to the child, so they could identify that it was for them; creating more excitement.

There’s also a baby’s first Christmas letter for £7.95, including a Nice Child Certificate.

We received the letter with activity pack, which costs £8.95.

Included in the pack is:

  1. ‘Nice Child’ Certificate
  2. Elf Yourself! Activity sheet
  3. Christmas Eve door hanger
  4. Cut out and keep
  5. Christmas decoration
  6. Colouring in Christmas card
  7. Colouring in ‘Santa
  8. Stop Here! poster’

The last ordering date for all UK order will be 21st December 2016

FINAL THOUGHTS

I loved these letters but best of all my kids loved them. My youngest couldn’t get over the details of what she had asked for in her letter and believed that Santa read her letter, which made it so magical!

My eldest daughter seems gobbed smacked with the details in it! When you’re personalising them you can put details in the P.S. Section and you write something you’d like your kids to do or listen etc… I praised her or should I say Santa praised her for her hard work and that if she keeps it up she will achieve great things! Made me smile and made her believe she can do anything!

For the price of £7.95 you can get a letter and it surely makes it worth it when you see their wee faces!! I absolutely recommend it.

Now I only received the letters on the 10th of December and I put this review up ASAP so I do hope you have time to order your little ones a letter in time.

Spibelt Running Belt (review)

Have you ever found something to help you when you workout that you have to use every time?

I have; meet the Spibelt. It’s a running belt that holds your phone, keys and money discreetly, easily and with comfort.

What I love about the Spibelt is, it doesn’t bounce when I am running on the treadmill, going to the shop, Zumba and weights. I went trampolining recently and I had to tighten the belt, which is a win! I did notice that the belt moved around, maybe I didn’t have it tight enough or maybe it was the aggressive bouncing. Either way I didn’t mind, I was able to carry my stuff without worrying my bag would go missing and I was able to access my phone to take the must needed sweaty selfie and bounce video 😉

I did worry that the belt would creep up around my belly, I’m a size 18/20 right now but when I got the belt I was size 24, I thought it would slip in the fold of my belly but it didn’t, it stays put. One negative is that now my waist is getting smaller the belt tends to ride up, by putting the belt to the side it helps a little but this can get a little tedious. I’ve seen other people putting them to the back but for me this defeats the purpose of having a zip pouch to have easy access too.

The belt has adjustable straps and it fitted my chunky 24 (uk size) with ease and still had room. So the advantage of it being adjustable is that it will shrink with me, no need to buy another belt.

On those days when you just want to nip to the shop it is perfect, you don’t need a bag and everything fits in the Spibelt!

I have the iPhone 6s Plus so it fits that, money, cards and keys. The Spibelt I have is “Spibelt Large Pocket Lanai“.

So far I haven’t had any trouble with sweat soaking through the pocket, maybe because I keep my running to 30-40mins, so far so good! I know there are waterproof belts and I would love to try one of those, it is winter after all and here in England, it is mainly rain with a side of rain!

Overall the Spibelt does the job it is intended to do, I love the material and pattern. I love that it is accessible for the plus side lady and gent, that it’s breathable and adjustable. It does annoy me that it rides up but I am in a phase where I am losing weight, so it could be my shape changing etc.. I’ll know more once I lose more and can update this post. I like that you can get accessories for the belt, for example you can get sports gel, water bottles and an extender (to increase the belt size).

So if you are looking for a running/exercise belt, something for festivals or both, then check out Spibelt I highly recommend it.
