I thought it would be fab to let you all know that I lost 1lb at group making it 8st 13lbs (125lbs) and that I was awarded with the greatest loser award on 7th March, day after my birthday, yay!! With my group I lost 6st 13lbs and overall is 8st 13lbs.
Greatest loser is awarded to the person who has lost the most weight in your group session. So 6st 13lbs is the most in my group so far!
So delighted to have this award and that I have nearly lost 9st.
Check out my weigh in video;
Until next time;
Never stop & stay strong x
So I did it!! I went to weigh in on Tuesday night and lost 3.5lbs taking it to 102lbs or 7st 4lbs lost! I can’t quite believe it ❤️ and I got slimmer of the week, chuffed!
I can now feel the change in my body. I know this may sound bizarre but being so huge I never felt the first few stone made any difference. I was able to physically do more but couldn’t actually feel it. I wish I took more photos but I honestly didn’t believe in myself that I would make it to this point and I’m so upset I ever doubted myself.
Now I can feel the changes on my body, I can finally see I am smaller, I feel lighter.
- My bum fits in my own chair
- I don’t knock people on the bus anymore with my arms
- I also fit into my own chair on the bus
- I can cut my toenails without struggling
- Shave/Wax areas that so needed it 😂
- Cross my legs, wow that feels amazing!
- Strangers talking to me without looking at my weight first
- My hair everywhere grows quickly
- My skin has cleared up
- I don’t get sick as often
There are so many little and big changes that have changed my life, every day I’m finding something new. It is crazy and I love it! I love it so much!
I have attached this weeks weigh in video, hope you enjoy and if you want to watch my journey from the start then head over to my YouTube, grab a cuppa and watch 💕
Here’s to the next 4st 3lbs 🙌🏻 this time next year I will be at target 💪🏻🎉
Thank you for all your support it means the absolute world to me ❤️ x
So let’s jump right in. Around 1.5 months ago I was award Woman of the Year 2016 this was an amazing achievement, to think my group found me in any way inspirational is a real honour.
I never thought I would inspire anyone on my journey but if I do I’m so happy! I am thankful for each person I’ve met at group and online. The support when you need it is so fantastic!
Being given such an award boosted my confidence a little. I have such self doubt and my confidence is still low but it is higher than it has ever been before and I hope with time it will grow more. I just want to look at my achievements and see I have done good. Another reason I am posting about WOTY is to appreciate it and realise that I am doing ok. I just want to point out I’m not being cocky, it is ok to accept you’ve done good and be proud.
So my advice is be proud of your achievements no matter what they are. Life is hard, this journey is challenging and progress is progress.
I want to thank you all from the bottom of my heart ❤️
It has been an emotional week for me, if you watch my YouTube videos you will know that my other half is recovering from surgery and I was finding being on plan difficult but somewhere in the mist of the dark cloud that was over me I found strength to fight through it, get back on plan and work my butt off (literally :’) )
Wait for it… it lead me to 4.5lb loss giving me my 4 stone award with slimming world and 6 stone award with My Fitness Pal in 28 weeks! One thing I do want to make clear, yes I did lose a lot of weight quickly and yes I did it healthily but it isn’t a race! I don’t want anyone reading this feeling disheartened or compare journey’s. I did at the start and man, was tough but what I do now is I compare myself to myself yesterday. So if I didn’t eat properly or skipped a meal or workout then I would make sure I didn’t do that again. I am now in competition with yesterday’s Julie and I tell you honestly I am not perfect, I do things wrong, I am not always on plan and there are days I don’t drink enough water. We can only do better than yesterday and that is enough!
Please enjoy your journey, take it each day as it comes, do not think about the end game, focus on the now and the rest will follow!
I am excited to show you the gift my hubby bought me for hitting this milestone and it will make cooking so much easier, more recipes coming soon.
Let me know how you are getting on and I hope you have a fantastic week ahead.
